SUMMARY : The new 2,500 sq. m Learning Garden of CUHK University Library opened 24/7 in November 2012. The Learning Garden is equipped with modern learning facilities that facilitate individual and collaborative study. These 24/7 facilities are widely welcomed by students. Nearly 500 users are found staying during peak hours, and amazingly, an average of over 2,700 canned drinks sold per month. The presentation shares the challenges in the first year of operations and the way forward in sustaining the Learning Garden as a welcoming space for students to enjoy the funs of learning and sharing throughout their student journeys at CUHK.  [Go to the full record in the library's catalogue]
