In order to cater for users' increasing information needs as a result of the changes in educational design and delivery in recent years, a student rover service was initiated at the Pao Yue-kong Library of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University at the beginning of the academic year 2012/13. The aim of the student rover service is to improve user service by providing peer-to-peer and point of need information assistance regardless of where users are located in the Library.This presentation will share with the audience our Library's experience on the development and running of the service.
