SUMMARY : In late 2011, reference librarians from Lingnan University and HKBU worked to set up a joint chat reference service. While it took time for those involved to become comfortable answering questions from another institution, the service has now reached a point where the partnership can be leveraged to achieve greater efficiencies without sacrificing service quality. This presentation will give an overview of the technology and service models used and an analysis of how well the service has been received by our users.  [Go to the full record in the library's catalogue]
