SUMMARY : This presentation will report on the latest development of the JULAC Common Card Project which was approved by JULAC in its meeting in March 2013. It is a continuing initiative of several previous attempts to replace the paper-based JULAC Library Card and to streamline the card application and registration workflow. A Task Force consisting access services and systems colleagues was established to oversee the implementation. A new form of plastic card with common barcode will replace the existing paper card; and an onsite registration system will be implemented to facilitate the transmit of patron record electronically to the host library during registration.  [Go to the full record in the library's catalogue]
