"The Semantic Web concept is to link the data in the Web and identify the relationships among them. In moving towards the Semantic Web, the Library community and cultural heritage sectors are developing linked data projects to optimize the discovery and exchange of data. This Symposium will provide updates on the development of BIBFRAME 2.0 which aims to replace MARC metadata standards. It will examine how to enrich library data with additional information and relations.
