前《明報》總編輯劉進圖為香港大學法律系畢業生，同屆同學包括戴耀廷、張達明、袁國強等，畢業後沒有當律師，反而成為了記者。2014年1月被撤《明報》主編職位，百多名《明報》員工於報社門外發起靜默行動，以示捍衛《明報》辦報的方針；同年2月，劉進圖遇襲受傷，情況一度危殆，至今傷勢還未痊癒，要接受物理治療。事件以五成七票數獲中學生選為當年「十大人道新聞」之首。遇襲後，他引用「真理在胸筆在手，無私無畏即自由」，勉勵香港新聞工作者繼續捍衛新聞自由。這天晚上，「迎峰而立」的劉進圖會跟同學暢談遇襲後的心路歷程及對人生與信仰的反思。 [Go to the full record in the library's catalogue]
