In the past year, HKUST Library's E-Learning Team created more than 30 e-learning objects as part of its information literacy teaching and learning effort. These objects were mainly short videos on how to use databases, library facilities and equipment, and citation styles. A few had interactive elements, such as games and quizzes. This presentation will share our stories: the opportunities we seized, the challenges we faced, and the joy we got out of creating e-learning objects that engage students.
